Creature of Desire

A selection of images and poetry from the body of work 'Creature of Desire', a collaboration between artists Amy Keevy and Sophie Smith, exploring the unravelling of purity, self-reclamation, and the wild unknown.

Shaped by purity culture, both artists have navigated their own transformations. With one behind the lens and the other in front armed with her words, they craft a visual myth of crossed boundaries, reclaimed bodies, and reimagined fairy tales. The work reflects the space between who we were told to be and who we become.

This collection is an invitation to step beyond the path, listen to the stories carried by wind and wood, and uncover what lies beneath the surface.
