I was born and bred in the small town of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, across from a park with the tallest of pine trees. I completed my B-tech in Fine Art at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2009, and now live and work in Cape Town. Amongst many other things I like to play with clay, nap with my half Siamesecat, and to lose myself inside books with the most tragic love stories.
My current work explores the moon, with her mighty hold over memory and shadow.
This lunar fascination began with the need to ground myself with something beyond my control. And I hope that whatever paint is brave enough to meet paper will bring to you the same joy that it brings to me.
